I feel like we are all watching each other, ready to pounce on someone's bad moment. Judgments fly and we feel the pressure and expectations people put on us;
To the mama of young ones, are you feeling intense pressure to not make a mistake? What happened to the day where we could all just have grace for one another?
Are you a struggling addict and you have made many mistakes in your life? Are attempting to build a normal life, but it feels more overwhelming than you can handle surrounded by a life of regret?
Are you a professional and the expectations are exasperating? When did it happen that you can't even take the weekends off?
Life's expectations are more than it seems we can handle. Everyone walks around stressed out and frustrated taking it out on each other. Waiting, watching, to dish out life's many disappointments on each other.
Good thing there is one out there that sees us. The one who knows our heart and if our intentions are good. He loved us greatly before our lives even began.
Our sweet Jesus came to the cross so you could live life in abundance. You need not worry about your tomorrows because tomorrow is in His hands. He knows what you need even before you ask!
It is Easter week this week. I feel like our world is so busy, it is hard to catch our breath and reflect. But now more than ever, this is the time we need to stop and refocus on a love that is greater than we could have ever even imagined.
A love so great...
When we were least deserving, Jesus went to the cross for us; We by nature are sinners. We were born that way. God wants us to come into relationship with him, but that relationship was divided because of our sinful nature. God is too pure and Holy to be able to come into His presence with all of our sin. But He loved us even when we were stuck in our sin (Rom 8: 1-17). We can not get out of the pit of sin on our own strength. Our fleshly desires are just too strong in this broken world. God always had a plan for you and for me to become free, because His love for us is so great! He sent His own son to the earth to pay the price for our sin.

He sent His only Son to pay the price for us. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 6:23). Jesus came to earth and became flesh so He could pay for our sins. He experienced what pain and temptations we experience here on earth. We deserved punishment for our sin, but He took our punishment and washed our filth and sin away when He died on the cross for us. That is why Jesus became the gateway to God. His love and redemption washes us clean for those that will accept Him and ask Him for forgiveness for our sin. And none, not even one, is deserving of the grace that was offered to us on the cross. We need Jesus to forgive us to wash us clean so we can come into the presence of God for all of eternity. We become no longer bound to the things of the world, because we become a new creation in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When we were least deserving, Jesus went to the cross to pay the price for our brokenness. He washed us clean as snow so we could come into His presence for all eternity
That is grace, my friend;
We become refined and restored in Christ Jesus when we accept this free gift! We become no longer bound to the judgment, expectations, and condemnation of the world. We are set free for all eternity through the power of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus. That is the everlasting love of Jesus Christ!
If you do anything this week, it would be just to take a moment to reflect. Spend time in the presence of God. Put your eyes onto the word of God, and away from the things of this broken world. Even fast from something that may distract you to put your focus back on the one who is love. The one who loves you just for you. The one who saw value in your life. He wanted to restore and bring freedom for your soul for eternity. He is calling you to turn away from sin and become washed clean through Him. Will you reflect and hear His heart for you? Ask Him what He thinks of you. Ask Him to show you how much He loves you. Give Him the honor He deserves. Listen to this song for encouragement
Lord give us the heart and understanding to receive your grace for us. When we were least deserving that you saw us and wanted more for us. You wanted to give us life in abundance so we could spend eternity with you. Thank you for taking my debt and sin on the cross. Thank you for making me whole and new in you. Thank you for redeeming my life. I pray that I can love and forgive others in my life just as you have done for me. I pray that I can spend time with you to reflect your goodness in my life and that you are working everything out for my good and for your glory. In Jesus name amen!
